While the reception staff, nurses and Dr were extremely efficient and caring, the medical room for eye care did not appear to be stocked with the necessary medication. This could have caused an unecessary delay, thankfully the Dr was very resourceful and obtained the medication from elsewhere. Everything else was very positive, and waiting time was pleasingly short.

They just checked the blood pressure but the body temperature though I told that I have a slight fever. I do not like to recommend the JR hospital to my friends.

Was seen by the nurse, x-rayed, and reviewed by the doctor within one hour of registering at A+E. All staff were very friendly, polite, and competent at their job. Most impressed with care received and environment in which this took place. Thank you.

the medical care I received was excellent. I thought the reception staff were efficient but under the deluge of people they may have lost some of their sensitivity towards patients. I arrived in incredible pain and after answering their questions was told to sit and wait - fine - but so much is conveyed by tone of voice and it could have been kinder.

The nurse that saw me appeared very tired and I had a little difficulty understanding what he said. On the whole I was satisfied with my treatment... just maybe needed a little clearer communication from the nurse

The signage in the hospital is awful. I attended A&E on Christmas Day and really struggled to find the department, both when driving in and also when actually in the building. When driving in I followed the signs which then suddenly stopped and i had to guess where to go. Given people who attend A&E are usually in a stressed state of mind the signage should be much better. Ditto when actually in the building where, again, the signs to the A&E department were conspicuous by their absence!

Excellent, efficient care, and felt well informed about what was going on administratively and medically. Friendly and courteous nurses and office staff. Best A & E organisation I've encountered (out of quite a lot)
